Server Rules
Breaking these rules results in a warning, kick, or permanent ban depending on severity. Staff decisions are final — appeal via Discord.
Community Rules
- #1No harassment or hate speech. Racism, homophobia, transphobia, or targeted harassment of any player results in an immediate ban.
- #2No toxic behavior. Keep chat positive. Constant negativity, drama-farming, or being deliberately unpleasant to others is grounds for a mute or ban.
- #3Respect staff. Don't argue with, ignore, or insult staff members. Constructive feedback is welcome — take it to Discord.
- #4No advertising without admin permission. Don't promote other servers, Discords, or services in chat or DMs without an admin's okay. Casually mentioning your own stuff is fine; recruiting players or spamming invites is not.
- #5No ban evasion or alts to dodge punishment. Hopping on another account to get around a ban, mute, or staff action turns a temp ban permanent. Legit alts (a shared house, a second account) are fine as long as staff know about them.
Gameplay Rules
- #6No hacked clients or cheats. Fly, speed, x-ray, auto-clicker, kill aura, or any other unfair advantage is a permanent ban.
- #7No griefing or stealing. Do not destroy, steal from, or alter builds that don't belong to you. We log block changes and can roll back damage and trace who did it. This is taken seriously: expect an instant Level 3 infraction, or a possible permanent ban by severity.
- #8Exploits and dupes. Base-game duping is allowed — sand, TNT, carpet, rails, and other vanilla tricks are fine. What's not allowed is mod-based duping and any unintended mod interaction that produces obviously broken results (infinite items, snapped progression, etc.). If you find one of those, report it instead of using it.
- #9No intentional lag machines. Infinite loops, excessive entity spawners, or chunk-loading abuse that degrades server performance is not allowed. (See also the Aeronautics rules.)
- #10PvP only with consent or in designated zones. Killing players outside of agreed-on or designated PvP areas is not permitted. The one exception is Stand Your Ground (#11).
- #11Stand your ground. If a player is inside your land (#15) and you have clearly asked them to leave more than once, and they keep ignoring you and being a nuisance, you may kill them.
- You must have given clear warnings first. One "leave" doesn't count.
- Be able to back it up. Give your warnings in public chat or grab a clip/screenshot. If it's just your word against theirs with no proof, staff will side with the player who got killed.
- This only applies inside your own land boundary. You can't chase someone down off your property and call it Stand Your Ground.
- You must return their loot afterward. You may sell it back at a reasonable price — you don't have to hand it over for free.
- Gouging is not allowed. Anything staff consider an unreasonable price will be voided and the items returned for free.
- #12Your items stay yours when you die. Dying doesn't make your stuff free game. Outside of consented PvP or Stand Your Ground (#11), taking the items a player dropped on death, or camping their death pile, counts as stealing under #7. In agreed PvP, loot goes by whatever both players settled on beforehand.
Aeronautics & Contraptions
- #13Keep contraptions performance-friendly. Airships and Create contraptions are powerful but expensive on the server. Don't build oversized assemblies or spam engines, fans, or propulsion beyond what your machine actually needs. If a contraption is visibly tanking TPS, staff may disassemble it.
- #14Don't leave contraptions running unattended. Park or disassemble airships and moving contraptions when you log off or walk away. Assembled contraptions left ticking forever are a constant performance drain. Report any contraption causing lag — yours or someone else's.
Build & World Rules
- #15You own your builds and land. We're a calm SMP — your base, your land, and your stuff are yours and everyone is expected to respect that. We don't run a claim mod; it's handled on trust, backed by the griefing rule and our block logs. Your land is your main build plus the area right around it — roughly within 50 blocks of your base, or whatever you've worked out with your neighbors. You can't claim big stretches of empty wilderness just by standing near them, and staff have the final say on any boundary dispute.
- #16No obscene or offensive builds. This includes any builds of a sexual, hateful, or otherwise inappropriate nature. These will be removed.
Spawn Rules
- #17Spawn is open to build on. Spawn is a shared space and you're welcome to build, decorate, set up shops, and run small projects there. Keep it tidy and in keeping with the surroundings — don't wall off the spawn point, block main paths, or sprawl over someone else's stall.
- #18Big spawn projects need an application. Anything large-scale — revamps, overhauls, terraforming, or major landmass and terrain changes — has to be approved first. Fill out a Project Application in #applications before you start. This keeps spawn coherent and stops two people rebuilding the same area at once.
- #19Spawn is a safe haven. No random PvP, griefing, or stealing at spawn — it's the one place everyone can gather, build, and trade safely, including the server's global market, so keep it welcoming. The exception is your own property: your stall, shop, or build at spawn still counts as your land, so Stand Your Ground (#11) applies inside it if someone won't leave. It does not apply to the open, shared parts of spawn.
- #20AFK farming. We don't run an AFK kick, so AFK farms are fine — within reason. Keep them from lagging the server (that falls under #9), and if the server is full, don't sit AFK for hours holding a slot while others are waiting to get on.
Enforcement
- L1Minor violation — verbal warning
- L2Repeated or moderate violation — temporary ban (1–7 days)
- L3Severe or repeated violation — extended temporary ban or permanent ban, at staff discretion
- →Appeals are handled in the Discord server. Open a ticket in #appeals. Staff decisions are final.
Rules may be updated at any time. It is your responsibility to stay up to date. Ignorance of the rules is not a valid appeal reason.
